Today, I got to make family meal for my class, restaurant production, and the class i got kicked out of, dining services, haha. I made green beans and chinese sasauge with black bean sauce over steamed rice. Ha. and there was also ceasar salad from the dining services class. They had to make it for a competency. They do table side service of ceasar salad. I want to come in and eat just to see them do it. haha. I also drank like 3 shirley temples during class today! haha. I LOVE SHIRLEY TEMPLES. =) On fridays, we have buffet day where advanced garde manger brings down all the appetizers and canapes and everything, and in the restaurant we have a whole different menu of our own dishes. I didnt make up a dish this week, but i will have to next week. I got to help with making chocolate mousse, risotto, and heating bread HAHA. It was slow so i swept and mopped the whole kitchen.. haha. didnt get a picture of all the dishes but here:
